Co-Head of Drew’s Investigations Practice, Director Wendell Wong and Senior Associate Andrew Chua co-authored the Law & Practice Singapore chapter in the Chambers Global Practice Guide: Anti-Corruption 2024.

The Singapore chapter discusses the legal framework for offences, such as international conventions and guidelines for the interpretation and enforcement of national legislation and recent key amendments to national legislations.

The chapter also highlighted the classification and constituent elements surrounding corruption offences, defences, exceptions, penalties on conviction and guidelines to the assessment of penalties.

Further key topics include compliance and disclosure, enforcement of anti-bribery and anti-corruptions laws, and recent landmark investigations or decisions involving bribery or corruption, among others.
